TRUST // EVIDENCE FIREWALL

    Editorial Independence

How INNERSTANDIN separates research, practitioner perspective, product review, sponsorship, and affiliate commerce before commercial launch.

    Status // Working public policy

This page sets a transparent operating foundation. Qualified UK review is still required before commercial activity or scaled health claims begin.

Last reviewed: 18 August 2026 // Qualified review still required

    Our working commitment

INNERSTANDIN is building a research-led education publication. Human studies and systematic reviews lead the evidence backbone. Mechanistic, animal, and in-vitro findings are labelled with their limits, and natural-health practitioner material is identified as perspective rather than presented as proof.

This is a working editorial policy for an early business. Qualified UK legal, regulatory, advertising, privacy, and professional review is required before commercial activity expands.

Different kinds of content stay distinct

Research explains what a study measured, who took part, how the study was designed, and what remains uncertain. Practitioner perspective may add interpretation or questions, but it does not increase the evidentiary weight of a study or establish a personal conclusion.

A product review examines a claim, evidence, form, dose, safety, quality, cost, and limits. Sponsorship and affiliate commerce disclose the financial relationship. These layers may appear on related pages, but they will not be blended into one undisclosed recommendation.

    The source standard

Articles and future reviews should show identifiable sources, study populations, measured outcomes, limitations, funding or conflicts, author or reviewer information, and a review date. UK services, regulation, and practical availability can provide local context without becoming the scientific evidence authority.

A persuasive explanation is not a substitute for a relevant human study. A biomarker change, laboratory result, biological rationale, or practitioner experience cannot be presented as proof of a wider personal outcome.

    Conflicts are recorded

Before commercial content launches, INNERSTANDIN plans to maintain a conflict register. It will record commissions, gifts, samples, sponsorships, brand communications, practitioner relationships, funding, publication decisions, and review dates.

Material conflicts will be disclosed where they could affect how a reader interprets a page. A conflict does not automatically make information false, but hiding a relevant relationship makes informed reading harder.

    Second-person review

Future product, affiliate, sponsored, and high-risk health-claim pages should receive a second-person review before publication. The second reviewer will check sources, wording, evidence labels, safety boundaries, commercial disclosures, and links against the operating checklist.

A second review is a quality safeguard, not a clinical assessment or a legal approval. The page remains subject to correction, update, pause, or takedown when new information changes the decision.

    Samples and advertiser access

A free sample, discount, event invitation, commission, or other benefit cannot determine whether INNERSTANDIN publishes a page or how its conclusion is written. Sample handling and brand contact will be recorded when they could affect independence.

Advertisers and sponsors may provide factual product information for checking, but they will not approve research conclusions, edit evidence ratings, remove limitations, or buy a higher position in a comparison.

    Corrections and reader concerns

Material corrections will be made clearly, with review dates updated when appropriate. If a product claim changes, a source is withdrawn, a safety issue emerges, or a commercial relationship no longer meets the policy, the page may be paused or removed while it is assessed.

Readers can raise a concern about evidence, disclosure, safety wording, or a conflict by contacting hello@innerstandin.com. This address is not a route for urgent medical information.
