TRUST // COMMERCIAL DISCLOSURE

    Affiliate Policy

How INNERSTANDIN will label affiliate content, screen future recommendations, separate commerce from evidence, and protect editorial independence.

    Status // Working public policy

This page sets a transparent operating foundation. Qualified UK review is still required before commercial activity or scaled health claims begin.

Last reviewed: 18 August 2026 // Qualified review still required

    Working policy and current status

Affiliate content is commercial content. If INNERSTANDIN publishes an affiliate review or link in the future, the page will carry a clear "Ad" label before a reader invests time in the review or clicks a commercial link.

There is no live affiliate catalogue, product listing, paid recommendation, merchant link, or sponsorship programme in this foundation. This is a working public policy, not solicitor-approved legal advice. Qualified UK legal, regulatory, advertising, privacy, and accounting review is required before monetisation.

    Affiliate links and commissions

Some future links to products, services, books, or household tools may be affiliate links. If a reader follows one and buys something, INNERSTANDIN may receive a commission at no extra cost to the reader. Sellers control their own pricing, availability, delivery, and returns.

A commission can affect which commercial pages we choose to create, but it must not decide whether a claim is supported, how evidence is described, or what conclusion a review reaches. Affiliate relationships will be disclosed close to the relevant content, not left only in a footer.

    Gifted products and samples

If a brand provides a product or service free of charge, that relationship will be disclosed near the relevant content. Receiving a sample will not guarantee coverage, favourable wording, a link, or publication.

The operating record will note whether an item was purchased, gifted, retained, returned, donated, or otherwise handled. A free sample, discount, event invitation, or other benefit will be treated as a potential conflict when the content is assessed.

    Sponsored content and commercial separation

Future sponsored research briefings, guides, resources, or page placements will use a clear "Sponsored" or "Ad" label before the sponsored material. Sponsorship supports distribution or production. It does not buy a favourable evidence conclusion, a higher evidence rating, or a place in a comparison.

Research findings, practitioner perspective, product review, and commercial copy will be kept visibly separate. Readers should be able to tell what a study measured, what an expert interprets, and what a seller or sponsor wants them to consider.

Product screening and UK claims review

Before any future product or service is considered for publication, the review process will examine peer-reviewed human evidence and systematic reviews, the population studied, the outcome measured, the exact form and dose, safety information, interactions, quality signals, UK availability, total cost, seller wording, and relevant conflicts.

Where food, supplement, advertising, or other regulated wording is involved, the process will include a qualified UK claims and advertising review before publication. That review is an operating safeguard. It does not make a product effective, suitable for every reader, or legally cleared by INNERSTANDIN.

A listing cannot establish personal benefit

A product listing, ingredient explanation, customer testimonial, biological mechanism, laboratory result, or popularity signal cannot establish that an item treats, prevents, or cures a condition, or that it will help a particular person.

Future pages may explain what a product is, what research measured, and what practical questions remain. They will not turn a mechanism, association, or seller claim into a personal health conclusion.

    Conflicts, corrections, and takedown

INNERSTANDIN plans to maintain a conflict register recording commissions, gifts, sponsorships, brand involvement, practitioner relationships, publication decisions, and review dates. Material conflicts will be made visible when they could affect how a page is understood.

Pages will be reviewed when a formulation, claim, price, seller, or relevant evidence changes. We will correct material errors clearly and may pause or remove a page when its claims cannot be supported, its information is outdated, or a commercial relationship no longer meets the policy.

    Future affiliate tracking and privacy

If affiliate tracking is introduced, it will be consent-first and subject to qualified UK privacy review before activation. The privacy notice and consent approach will explain what is used, why it is used, and how a reader can change their choice.

INNERSTANDIN will not collect health information for recommendations or use symptoms, diagnoses, medicines, or inferred conditions to target affiliate content. The current site has no affiliate tracking, product catalogue, or commercial purchase flow.
